Experimental assessment of explosion and fire hazards of lithium current sources

Abstract: In this Letter, we propose a method for quantitative assessment of the explosion and fire hazards of lithium–thionyl chloride elements, describe an experimental setup, and present the results of experiments with lithium–thionyl chloride elements of D and DD sizes.
