The energy storage capacity of phase-change materials based on $n$-alkanes

Abstract:
Experimental data obtained by the caloriemetric method allowed to analyze the energy intensity of PCM materials based on $n$-alkans. It is shown that in the temperature area from -50 to 70$^\circ$C to create comfortable living conditions for people can be used a set of $n$-alkans with the number of carbon atoms in a chain from 9 to 36.
