Abstract:
The propagation time of chaotic ultra-wide-band rf pulses through a wireless multipath-propagation channel in the frequency range from 3 to 5 GHz has been experimentally determined. The error in measuring the propagation time of chaotic ultra-wide-band rf pulses has been estimated from their envelope for the solution of the problem of measuring the distance between objects and their localization in space in industrial and office facilities.
