Abstract: For the first time a superhydrophobic coating based on carbon nano-onions (multilayer fullerenes) synthesized through a cheap and technological method was obtained. Two simple and easily reproducible techniques of application were suggested. An opportunity of using the coating to control the composition and humidity of air was explored. Anti-icing properties were researched.
