Abstract:
The phenomenon of chimera state cloning in a two-layer network of bistable time-delayed feedback oscillators has been experimentally studied for the first time in cases of unidirectional and mutual coupling between the network layers. It is established that the cloning of chimera states in the case of mutual coupling is only possible provided a proper choice of the initial conditions for oscillators.
