Increasing the axial ratio of an electromagnetic wave with a meander-line polarizer

Abstract: It is proposed to increase the axial ratio of an electromagnetic wave from 0.2–0.3 to 1 using a meander-line polarizer. The direct and inverse problems of excitation of the meander line polarizer grating are solved. The convergence of the results is demonstrated.
