Abstract:
In this paper, we discuss increasing the fuel efficiency and the efficiency of combustion processes in power plants based on the data of physical and computational experiments. Two ignition systems of a fuel mixture, one of which uses a multipoint pulsed spark discharge, and the other uses a multipoint streamer discharge, are considered. A comparative estimate of the energy efficiency of each of the approaches to the ignition of a fuel mixture is performed, and conclusions about their effectiveness and prospects for use are drawn.
