Abstract:
The experimental results of studying the temperature dependence of the optical transmission spectra of silicate glasses containing CdS$_{x}$Se$_{1-x}$ semiconductor nanocrystals are presented. The dependence of the band-gap energy temperature coefficient on the average nanocrystallite size is found. The possibility of the practical application of silicate glasses containing semiconductor nanocrystals as optical thermometers and optical filters is shown.
