Abstract:
A hybrid nanomaterial, a single layer of C$_{60}$ molecules sandwiched between single-layer graphene and a metal substrate, is considered. Formulas for the specific energy of interaction of C$_{60}$ fullerene molecules with single-layer graphene and a thick substrate are derived using the Lennard–Jones potential. The specific adhesion energy of graphene and the equilibrium parameters of the structure under consideration are calculated. The theoretical results obtained in the study are consistent with available experimental data.
