Abstract:
The analysis of stresses and deformations in the asphalt concrete pavement, arising under the action of the pressure of the wheels of passing cars, is carried out. There is taken into account the change in the elastic moduli of the upper layers materials, due to the change in temperature along the height. Based on the solution of the thermoelasticity problem in the ANSYS finite element modeling software package, the distribution of temperatures, stresses and strains in the pavement layers is obtained. It is shown that the decrease in the stiffness of the upper layers materials leads to a significant change in the pattern of stress and strain distribution when the road surface is heated.
