Abstract: The development of the modular translator from LYaPAS is discussed. The final goal of the development is having a compiler from LYaPAS written in LYaPAS. The translation process is divided into stages, each handled by a translator module. The modules are implemented as executable files that exchange data via files. The intermediate translation results are represented in auxiliary languages.
