Abstract: The history of creating the algorithmic language LYaPAS is told. The characteristic peculiarities of the language and its realizing systems for various types of computers are in short described. The main stages of the language development and its spreading are demonstrated. The possibility of an effective LYaPAS using for creating program systems blocks and even compiler are shown. The examples of packets applied programs and systems created on the LYaPAS base are given.
