Abstract:
The paper considers the features of the natural optical activity of a non-ideal molecular crystal and performs a numerical simulation of its frequency dispersion in the exciton region of the energy spectrum. The dependence of the rotational ability on the concentration of structural defects in a given crystal lattice for different frequency intervals is studied.
This study was performed within budgetary funding for the Donetsk Institute for Physics and Engineering named after A.A. Galkin (project “Formation of the Structure and Properties of Promising Multifunctional Materials”).
