Abstract:
Using a tunable $\mathrm{CO}_{2}$ laser, unsaturated absorption coefficients in pure $\mathrm{CO}_{2}$ and binary $\mathrm{CO}_{2}$ gas mixtures with inert gases $\mathrm{He}$, $\mathrm{Ar}$, $\mathrm{Kr}$ и $\mathrm{Xe}$ in a $1$ : $2$ ratio at 100 Torr were measured at the central frequencies of the $R(8)$, $R(22)$, $P(8)$, $P(22)$, and $P(32)$ $\mathrm{CO}_{2}$ spectral lines of the $10^{0}0$–$00^{0}1$ transition at $300$–$700$ K. The coefficients of the collisional broadening of the $\mathrm{CO}_{2}$ spectral lines by $\mathrm{He}$, $\mathrm{Ar}$, $\mathrm{Kr}$, and $\mathrm{Xe}$ are determined. The obtained temperature dependences of the collisional broadening coefficients are approximated by power functions with two different degrees.
