Synthesis of ternary metal chalcogenide colloidal nanocrystals in aqueous solutions

Abstract:
Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) of AgInS$_{2}$ and CuInS$_{2}$ and corresponding core shell structures were synthesized in aqueous solution using L-Glutathione and sodium citrate as stabilizing agents. The samples were characterized by means of absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopies.
