Abstract: The possibilities of forming light fields with intensity distribution in the form of two maxima rotating during propagation using a liquid-crystal modal device are analyzed. The rate of intensity distribution rotation depending on the radius of curvature of the wave incident on the modulator, as well as the energy efficiency of the formed fields, are estimated.
