Abstract:
The systematic error in experiments concerning searching for the electric dipole moment of an electron due to the Stark interference between the E1 and M1 amplitudes of the transition from the H3Δ1 state to C1Π of a ThO molecule has been calculated. The calculations show that the error is about three orders of magnitude lower than the current limitation on the electric dipole moment of electron.
