Light transmission of a thin metal screen with an infinite array of periodic nanoslits

Abstract:
A rational method for calculating the transmission of light by a thin metal screen with an infinite periodic array of subwavelength slits is proposed. The calculation results agree well with available experimental and theoretical data.
