Magnetic-resonance frequency shifts in a tandem Cs–K magnetometer induced by spin exchange
V. A. Kartoshkin Ioffe Institute, St. Petersburg
Abstract:
The magnetic-resonance frequency shifts of Cs and K atoms induced by spin exchange at optical orientation of atoms are calculated. The situation under study is characteristic of a tandem magnetometer based on a mixture of cesium and potassium atoms in one working chamber.
Keywords:
spin exchange, cross sections, magnetic-resonance frequency shifts.
