Abstract:
The evolution of ultrashort optical pulses in a photonic crystal consisting of semiconductor carbon nanotubes in an external pump field is considered. The possibility of stable propagation of electromagnetic pulses in pump and damp fields due to a balance between the dissipative forces and the external field is shown. The long-term stability of the ultrashort optical pulse shape in the case of changes in various parameters of the medium, such as the inhomogeneity period of carbon nanotubes in the photonic crystal and the refractive index modulation depth, is demonstrated.
