At IFAE, the Institute for High Energy Physics at the Universitat Autтnoma de Barcelona (UAB), we conduct experimental and theoretical research at the frontiers of fundamental physics, namely in Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology. We also work at the cutting edge of detector technology, putting our know-how to the service of more practical goals.

IFAE has its own permanent research and technical staff in addition to UAB faculty and ICREA research staff. More than half of the Institute personnel consists of postdoctoral fellows and PhD students.
