The Institute was founded in 1961. At the present time, the Institute is active in more than 10 physics and technology fields, such as theoretical physics, nuclear and elementary particle physics, solid state physics, biophysics, optics and spectroscopy, applied mathematics, thermophysics and bimetal technology. Along the basic research activities we are engaged in many applied research topics as automation of scientific experiments, penetration of nuclear physics achievements in practice, transformation of solar energy into the electrical and thermal ones, testing and using of micro-hydrostations.
Among our Institute's scientists there are 6 members of Mongolian Academy of Sciences, 11 Doctors of Sciences (D.Sc), about 40 Ph.D and one Mongolian State Prize winner.
Scientists of the Institute have published more than 50 books, and around 1700 scientific papers in domestic and foreign scientific journals. Source: https://www.mas.ac.mn/en |
