The University of Orleans started the European degree system in September 2004. It now has Bachelor?s degree programmes in 5 fields: Law, Economics and Management; Arts and Languages; Humans sciences; Science and Technology; Sport.

The University of Orleans welcomes over 15000 students on four sites : Bourges, Chartres, Indre (Chateauroux and Issoudun) and Orleans. 882 lecturers and research lecturers teach in four Faculties, I Engineering school and 4 Institutes of Technology, 530 administrative staff, technicians, maintenance staff and librarians and nurses welcome students and enable the smooth running of the University.
