The State Agricultural University of Moldova (SAUM), which is the only higher agricultural education institution in Moldova, has remarked with a special contribution in creating the economic, social, political and cultural wealth of our society.

More than 50,000 agronomists, engineers, economists, breeding experts and veterinary doctors have graduated from SAUM during these years.

Also remained those over 1000 graduates from 67 countries of the world who have graduated from our school. They surely keep in mind nice moments about the university.

Simultaneously with the education of the future specialists, the SAUM teaching staff has conducted a fruitful activity in the field of agricultural research, too, creating new sorts and hybrids of plants, elaborating modern technologies, all that later found its use in production.

At present, SAUM — a well-known and appreciated institution both in the country and abroad — possesses a rich intellectual potential of significant infrastructure aimed at supporting the work of teachers and social protection. The nowadays generation of teachers and collaborators has noble mission of contributing constantly to the rise of the university education in order to instruct competent specialists and competitors, thus breathing life to the slogan of our university.
