The Institute of System Dynamics and Control Theory (ISDCT) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (formerly: Irkutsk Computing Center (ICC)) was established in 1980. In 2003 the Institute's staff was 225, including 1 Corresponding Member of the Academy, 20 Doctors of science (Dr.Sc.), 40 Candidates of science (Cand.Sc.), and 51 postgraduates. ISDCT is a research institute engaged in basic research into pure and applied mathematics including: mathematical methods of system dynamics, control theory, and computer science, with applications focused on technical systems, software engineering, natural, socio-economic and other systems.
