Institute of Computational Technologies of the SB RAS (ICT SB RAS) was founded in October, 1990 by the special decree of the SB RAS No. 493 of 16.10.90. Director of the Institute — academician Yurii Ivanovich Shokin The main directions of the research performed at the Institute are as follows:

1. information and telecommunication technologies in decision development problems,
2. mathematical modeling and computational technologies in continuum mechanics, physics and ecology.
