Powder Metallurgy Institute (PMI) is a part of the State Research and Production Powder Metallurgy Association (SRPPMA), which is a structural subdivision of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Today the Institute is a multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral scientific organization, which deals with development, research and application of new materials in the field of powder metallurgy, composite and superhard materials, protective coatings, welding, pulse technologies, and explosive welding.
