Constructing
Construction of external precast bearing walls with the frost insulation layer
T. D. Hakobyan CJSC Gazprom Armenia
Abstract:
A new method of building walls and structures with frost insulation layers in fixed reinforced concrete slabs as a part of precast bearing wall and as an external formwork panel is recommended hereby. A closed or ventilated air space can be left between the frost insulation layers and slabs. The 55cm width slabs have height of a building floor and widened shelves at the bottom for better stability. Replacing the external formwork panel with fixed slabs ensures necessary thermal resistance of the walls formwork preparation actions are reduced together with metal and shields’ joints expenditures.
