Intellectual control algorithm for reducing the aerodynamic interaction at autonomous wind farm

Abstract: The article deals with the problem of wind farm intellectual control. It describes an intellectual control algorithm developed by the authors, and considers the aerodynamic interaction of wind turbines which can decrease total energy output. An autonomous wind farm has been modelled in Matlab/Simulink. Wind farm work with the application of an intellectual control algorithm is compared with the conventional one.
