Frequency characteristics of sequences generated by the stream encryption algorithm GEA-1

Abstract: We consider frequencies and cross-correlation coefficients for sequences generated by the stream encryption algorithm GEA-1. Results are obtained by means of well-known estimates for exponential sums from linear recurrent sequences.
