Abstract: Some problems on records in permutations are considered. We study combinatorial and statistical properties of records and their characteristics (numbers of records, positions and heights of records, etc.) for the equiprobable and parametric models of permutations. Limit theorems for considered characteristics are proved permitting to construct new statistical tests for the hypothesis on the uniformity of distribution of permutations.
