Matematicheskie TrudyThe journal "Mathematical Works" has been published as a periodical since 1998 as a continuation of the series "Proceedings of the Institute of Mathematics of the SB RAS", founded in 1979 by academician S. L. Sobolev and published in the form of separate thematic volumes. Only original articles are published, large articles are allowed, there is no limit on the size of the article. Since 2024 it has been published by Novosibirsk State University.
The journal covers a wide range of areas of modern mathematics: algebra and mathematical logic, theory of functions of real and complex variables, functional analysis, differential equations, mathematical physics, geometry and topology, probability theory and mathematical statistics, theoretical cybernetics, numerical methods, mathematical problems of geophysics and tomography, optimization theory, etc.
