Measuring of line segments, coordinate line, and absolute value properties

M. Morozkina, V. V. Tsukerman

Moscow State Humanitarian University named after M. A. Sholokhov
References:
Abstract: A rigorous construction of one-to-one correspondence between real numbers and points on a straight line is given. On this basis, the geometric approach to obtaining the absolute value properties is developed.
Keywords: one-to-one correspondence of real numbers and the points on the line, the coordinate axis, the absolute value of number, properties of absolute value.
