Abstract:
The distributed mathematical model of magnesium particle ignition in one-dimensional and two-dimen-sional non-stationary approach of mechanics of the reacting medium, taking into account the heterogeneous chemical reaction and area of thermal influence of a particle to gas is proposed to describe the thermal history of magnesium particle heating. The mathematical technology of the solution of the considered class of boundary value problems of magnesium particles ignition is developed and tested. Essential influence of ambient media temperature field nonuniformity to ignition delay time is revealed.
