Full-text PDF (598 kB) Citations (2)
Abstract: A hybrid numerical scheme that combine the solution of the Boltzmann equation with that of the simplified version of Navier–Stockes equations is described. The scheme is studied on a problem of subsonic rarefied gas flow over the flat plate of a finite length and zero thickness posed in parallel to the flow direction.
