Abstract: The laws of electromagnetic radiation pulse formation in dielectric environment for self-induced transparency conditions are considered. The insufficiency of the description of such pulse with the help of the Maxwell–Bloch equations is shown. The connection way of an filling average number and pulse energy taking into account environment power saturation is offered. The account of a pulse electrical and magnetic component is submitted.
