The airplane flow with untraditional vortex generating flight control surfaces

Abstract:
The method for calculating of the airplane aerodynamic characteristics with vortex generating flight control surfaces at high angles of attack was developed. This method is based on Joukovski's lifting theorem and on the discrete vortex method, developed by S. M. Belotserkovsky. This method helps to study the physical nature of the aircraft flow with vortex generators, also it implies to research the possibility of improving an aircraft flight control characteristics at high angles of attack using vortex generators. Much attention was paid to development of the calculating schemes for airplane with vortex generators and to agreement vortex scheme of the plane and vortex generators.
