Integrated multimedia teaching environment on celestial mechanics

Abstract:
The paper presentats of a software package developed support the teaching of the celestial mechanics course. The package realizes an environment of several interconnected software applications intended for executing under Windows'95/98 Operational Systems. This environment supports all main modes of educational process - the teaching itself, the knowledge checking and diagnosys, and experiments with computer models of celestial mechanics objects. The environment supports elements of distance education by means of accessing to Internet resources in the astronomy and celestial mechanics fields. The paper presents a review of software applications and of information models of those applications as well. The information models connect apllications into an educational software complex.
