Definition of representative volume parameters of object with the stochastic characteristics

M. G. Boyarshinov

Perm State Technical University
Abstract: The effective magnitudes of viscosity, density, coefficients of diffusion and temperature conductivity are needed to solve applied problems of mechanics. The approximation of discrete object by medium with the continuously distributed property represents significant interest. It allows us to u«e well known methods of the boundary problems decision for construction of models of objects with the stochastic discrete characteristics. The original method defining the representative volume size is considered here. The hypothesis is used that the distribution of the object properties is stochastic.
