Abstract: According to the physical process splitting technique a difference scheme for solving the viscous part of 3D Navier–Stokes equations for compressible gas flows is described. Stability conditions for explicit and implicit schemes in 2D and 3D cases are obtained. An agreement is shown between calculated and experimental data for 3D shockwave/ turbulent-boundary-layer interaction as example.
