Investigation of dense fluid flows in narrow pores

Karpov Institute of Physical Chemistry
Abstract: For numerical research of dense fluids in narrow pores the new molecular approach, based on lattice-gas model is used. The program for numerical research of the transport equations by the method of “installation” of the second order of accuracy on temporary and spatial coordinates is created. The new approach enables to study in detail of fields of concentration, velocity, temperature, and other thermodynamic characteristics of fluid flows for pores depending on temperature and local concentration of molecules. The dynamic regimes of argon flows in slit-like pores are researched at the pulse action of pressure drop on both ends of the pore.
