Interaction of stratified flow with rarefaction wave

A. T. Berlyand

Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute
Abstract: Interaction of stratified flow with rarefaction wave is simulated. Reflection of one rarefaction wave from tangential discontinuity is considered. The dependence of reflected wave sign from correlation Mach numbers on such tangential discontinuity is obtained. We simulated of velocity profile in boundary layer in incoming flow by “depression” of velocity and attempted to construct inviscid solution corresponding to viscous flow with boundary layer. Such simulation makes it possible to analyze some peculiarity of mentioned flows without decision of Navier–Stokes equation.
