Abstract: Tests were carried out to reveal the glow discharge effect on velocity pulsations of the turbulent Karman vortex street flow behind a cylinder. It turned out that the intensity of velocity pulsations alters, and the width of the spectral contour alters also when the discharge is switched on. The velocity line form was Lorentzian for the first approximation in both cases (with and without the discharge). The data analysis was based on the Karman street classic model accounting the street chaotic character at high Reynolds numbers.
