Abstract: A new approach to simulation of flows in dense gases and liquids is stated. The macroscopic equations and finite-difference schemes are constructed based on the Enskog kinetic model for dense gases, which is analogous to the Boltzmann equation. The technique is applied to computations of an isothermic low-Mach-number flow in a twodimensional cavity with the moving top.
