Numerical investigation of jet flows, using multiprocessor computer systems

Abstract:
Implementation is presented of the numerical method for gasdynamic problems on the cluster multiprocessor systems. The Message Passing Interface standard has been used for organization of interprocessor data exchange. The efficiency is shown of the parallel code based on the finite-difference approximation of the quasigasdynamic equations. Numerical simulation of axisymmetric underexpanded jet and comparison of the numerical and experimental data are fulfilled.
