Abstract: One-dimentional model of the transient stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in the semiclassical aproach is described. The system of equations of the SRS of an arbitrary pulse is analytically solved by using the Riemann–Volterra method, when the phases of Stokes, anti-Stokes and laser waves are perfect matched, but the pump depletion is ignored. The gain suppression occurs in the case of close Raman polarizabilities.
