Abstract: The method is stated of numerical account of superficial pulse currents spreading on electromagnetic shields of rectangular section. Is shown, that the sharply non-uniform distribution of density of a current in a vicinity of edges of the shields is characteristic for a high-frequency component. The given effect must be taken into account at an estimation of protective properties of electromagnetic shields of the complex form.
