Abstract:
The main result is a new mathematical model that describes the traffic flow movement dynamic of several vehicles. The model is represented by a system of delay differential equations. Units of measurement and parameter values were determined for the model. Using numerical methods, the basic dynamic properties of the model were investigated, as well as the stability of a uniform driving mode was analytically investigated. A computer program was also developed. The program based on the resulting model simulates the traffic flows movement in various road situations. The simulation results observed in the program correspond to the observation data of real traffic flows and traffic lights.
