Abstract: The article presents the test solutions of dynamics of gas and gas-particles mixture using quasimonotone K–stable difference scheme with a custom dissipative properties. The comparisons with numerical solutions obtained by high accuracy schemes (WENO5, PPM, monotone compact scheme and the quasi gas dynamic algorithm) are presented.
Keywords: gas dynamics, mechanics of heterogeneous media, difference scheme, dissipative properties, stability, monotonicity.
