Abstract: The simulation of the motion of a conducting fluid in a magnetic field is considered in this paper. The flow proceeds along the channel in the form of a spiral. The possible reasons leading to changes in the parameters of an external magnetic field caused by the movement of the medium the examined. Modeling is based on the equations of magnetohydrodynamics, which are implemented in the software package ANSYS. The problem is solved in a stationary setting.
